Story
At 5:08 AM on May 12, we were dispatched as a Tanker and Engine assist to help Station 77, Georgetown, with a brush fire. A large pile of trees that had been cleared from nearby property was on fire. Although the main fire was knocked down before our arrival, there were many small pockets of fire that needed to be extinguished. Twenty-two Indian River firefighters were in service for two hours and four minutes for this call.
