Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

Location: 26320-26477 Pot Nets Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday, July 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident involving a roll-over on Pot Nets Road just off Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a single vehicle rollover and unknown status of vehicle occupants.

Emergency response crews from Indian River Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional resources included the local emergency medical services provider and the Sussex County Paramedics.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, assistance with patient stabilization if needed, traffic control, debris and fluid recovery as well as overall incident mitigation.

It appears that a red Volkswagen Jetta was traveling down Pot Nets Road and lost control for an unknown reason, leaving the roadway and causing the vehicle to rollover.  The occupant of the vehicle was transported to nearby medical facilities.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigation.
