At 5:46 PM on Sunday, April 10, we were dispatched to 28450 Clark Av for a structure fire. First arriving firefighters found the rear of the structure well involved. The crew of Engine 80-1 quickly knocked the fire down with the pre-connected attack hose lines. The fire did extensive damage to both the exterior and interior at the rear of the residence. Station 83, Millsboro Fire Company, assisted at the scene. Station 82, Lewes Fire Company, sent an Engine and crew to our Station 2 to cover any other calls in our district. Thirty-two Indian River firefighters were in service for two hours and seventeen minutes for this call.
