Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Long Neck Rd and John J Williams Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday evening, July 14^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road at or near the intersection with John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be two vehicles.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Deputy 80 and the Delaware State Fire Police.  All emergency response apparatus from the stations were held.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control, and scene mitigation.

It appears that a maroon Honda Civic compact car was attempting to access Long Neck Road and struck a black Kia Forte sedan that was in the turn lane on Long Neck Road.  It appears that both vehicle suffered front end damage.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
