Nature: Vehicle Fire

Location: 26225 Bay Blvd Millsboro, DE 19966

Early Tuesday morning, May 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle fire on Bay Blvd in the Rehoboth Shores development off Long Neck Road. It was reported to be a single vehicle fully involved with no residential exposures.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression activities, scene preservation and incident mitigation.

It appears that a white Oldsmobile sedan was found fully involved with fire in an area off the recreational center.

The Delaware State Fire Police aided pending arrival of the State Fire Marshall.

The Delaware State Fire Marshall’s Office is investigating.
