Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Indian Mission Rd and John Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday morning, May 26^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Indian Mission Road and John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a two vehicle collision with potential minor injuries.

Emergency response vehicles from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility and Ladder 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, debris and fluid recovery, as well as scene mitigation.

It appears that a gray Ford Pick-up was approaching the gas pumps at the Pep Up facility and was rear ended by a black compact car.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
