On Wednesday afternoon, May 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for wires arching in the Massey’s Landing area of Long Neck Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included incident isolation, notification of the utility service provider, and traffic control.

The utility service provider, Delaware Electric Cooperative attended and corrected the concern.
