Nature: Vehicle Accident Possibly Serious

Location: Royal Farms (80) 26672 John J Williams Hwy Millsboro, DE 19966

On Thursday evening, April 20th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of the Royal Farms. It was reported to be a single vehicle roll-over.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization assistance if necessary, and traffic control.

It appears that a white Hummer SUV was traveling on John J. Williams Highway and lost control for an unknown reason traveling off the shoulder striking signage, fencing, and over turning.

The Delaware State Fire Police provided traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
