Nature: Training – Vehicle Rescue Evolutions

On Wednesday evening, November 30th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company continued with its professional development training programs and invited the Delaware State Fire School to proctor a vehicle rescue evolutions training exercise for our members. Additionally, the Delaware State Fire Police underwent online training tutorials for fire police activities.

The training exercises were held at the Long Neck facility and members trained in different rescue scenarios from door pops to a dash displacement. Members also utilized different stabilization tools including Rescue 42 Jacks and Junk Yard Dogs.
