On Monday, November 14th, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) with a residential structure fire on Shady Ridge Drive off of the Munchy Branch / Munchy Court area.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included manpower assistance with fire suppression, overhaul, as well as salvage where available.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
