During the ceremonial parade, many horse drawn carriages carrying politicos, fire trucks, antique cars and trucks, and other notable Delaware celebrities are in attendance.

Indian River entered its 1968 Mack Pumper into the parade and received 2nd Best Appearing Antique for 2016. The apparatus was prepared by the general membership and driven in the parade by Jason M. Faulkner, Sr. and his son Jay.  Information about the apparatus could be viewed at http://www.irvfc.com/apparatus/detail/4613
