Location: 19941 Center Av Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971


On Tuesday morning, March 1st, the Indian River (80) and Lewes (82) fire companies were alerted to assist Rehoboth Beach (86) with a structure fire on Center Avenue in Sea Air Mobile Home Park.  It was reported to be fully involved at the time of alarm.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-5 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included:  RIT Team Tasks, if needed, as well as any manpower pool assistance as needed and requested.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.

7:30 a.m.: The Delaware State Fire Marshal is now trying to determine what sparked an early morning fire in a house in Sea Air Village in Rehoboth Beach. Firemen from Rehoboth and Lewes were called to the home at 19941 Center Avenue at 5:04 a.m.

Firemen say homes on either side of the house that was on fire sustained some damage.
